A Texas developer has purchased the 40,142-square-foot Maalaea Harbor Shops & Restaurants on Maui for $13.4 million, according to public records. Dallas-based Cheng Investments formed Maui Harbor Shops LP for the purchase of the nearly four-acre center at 300 Maalaea Road, which is about 80 percent occupied.
